tldr; On Wednesday, Hopmann Marketing Analytics took part in the B2Run Munich for the second time. Our running team ran through the Olympic Park in pleasant conditions, was cheered on from the sidelines, and wrapped up the evening together in the finish area with snacks and non-alcoholic beer.

On Wednesday, some of us lined up in the name of Hopmann Marketing Analytics for the second time at the B2Run Munich. Instead of analyzing KPIs, for one evening it was all about kilometers, under pleasant conditions: cloudy, dry, and mild. Wearing our proven team shirts “Data läuft bei uns!” and in high spirits, we hit the nearly 6 km long course in the Olympic Park, this time without a laptop in tow.

B2Run Munich 2026: A run with a view

The B2Run is less about competition and more about coming together, and that was definitely the vibe once again this time. The route took us past the Olympic Lake and under the classic tent canopy, a unique setting. Joining us were thousands of other runners from Munich-based companies, all with the same goal in mind: to arrive together. Along the route, drummers and loud cheers provided extra motivation. There was a particularly nice surprise just before the finish line: Marilena, a former colleague, cheered on our team. It was a wonderful memory that will stay with us for a long time.

Refreshments in the finish area

After crossing the finish line, we didn’t head straight home. Instead, we refueled together right in the finish area: protein bars, fresh fruit, and non-alcoholic beer. Still in running gear, with slightly tired legs, but in high spirits. Between crossing the finish line and our post-race beer, we talked at length once more about the highlights of the evening. It’s exactly these experiences that make the B2Run more than just a sporting event for us.

The B2Run Munich has become a fixed date in the Hopmann calendar, and we’re already looking forward to who’ll join next year. To find out which upcoming external events are next on our calendar, check out our event overview. For further updates, follow us on LinkedIn.

A very special thank you goes to our colleague Constanze Bogner for organizing the event, as well as to Susanne & Jörg Hopmann for their sponsorship.
