Hopmann Summer Party 2026
tldr; A few days ago, the Hopmann Summer Party 2026 took place at our Munich office. Four teams went head-to-head in a summer-themed domino contest before the evening wound down at a barbecue on our rooftop terrace, with views across the rooftops of Munich-Neuhausen.
Domino Contest: Creativity and a Steady Hand
At the Hopmann Summer Party 2026, four teams competed to build the most creative, ambitious, and best domino track:
- Into the Blue
- Survivors
- Hallucinated Lemon
- Safety Stones
Each team brought its own summer theme to life, from an ocean motif to an island with a palm tree, a party lemon, and a holiday story built around waves. Judging was based on several categories:
- Creativity of the build
- Runtime of the track
- Difficulty level
- How well the theme was executed
- An extra point for standout ideas
Building the tracks took steady hands, close coordination within each team, and the willingness to rebuild a nearly finished section if needed. Anyone who grew up watching Domino Day had a clear head start. One team in particular stood out: Safety Stones was the only team whose entire track ran through without a single stop, a moment that earned plenty of applause.
Once the last stone had fallen, the group judged together which team came out on top. With the highest overall score, Hallucinated Lemon took the win, ahead of Survivors, Into the Blue, and Safety Stones. The prize: plenty of applause, a trophy, and a surprise for every team member.
Barbecue on the Rooftop Terrace
After the domino contest, everyone headed upstairs together to the rooftop terrace of the Hopmann office at Landshuter Allee 49 (RG). At the Hopmann Summer Party 2026, we grilled there together for the first time and once again realized how well the space works as an outdoor summer spot: plenty of room, fresh air, and a view across the rooftops of Munich-Neuhausen.
It had everything that makes a summer party a success:
- Great food straight off the grill
- Music from Bahar, setting the perfect mood
- Relaxed conversations away from the daily routine
- Plenty of fun moments
- The first-ever barbecue on our new rooftop terrace
