Our participation in the B2Run Munich 2025
On Wednesday, the Hopmann Marketing Analytics team took part in the B2Run Munich for the very first time. And what can we say: the weather algorithm had a sense of humor. Even before the first step had been taken, everyone was soaked through to their socks. Nevertheless, our 14 brave colleagues were ready for the big run: with race numbers, team shirts and high spirits.

Between puddles, pace and fun
The 5.7 kilometers through the Olympic Park had everything a company run needs: strong legs, fitness, fun and a team spirit that can even survive wet sneakers. Fortunately, the rain let up briefly at the start, giving us at least a reasonably dry course. However, the heavens opened again shortly before the finish. One consolation: crossing the finish line directly in the Olympic Stadium was definitely a highlight for everyone!
Federico was the first of our team to cross the finish line in 26 minutes and was therefore able to escape the rain a little better. Of course, it wasn’t the time on the clock that counted in this race, but the togetherness on the course and the fact that everyone crossed the finish line. At this point, congratulations to all finishers!
The reward at the finish: Erdinger Alkoholfrei for everyone. The only challenge, according to our colleague Utku: “You even had to cover the glass so that the beer wasn’t completely watered with rain.” A sentence that probably sums up the evening perfectly.

Our conclusion: wet, proud and highly motivated for next year
The B2Run 2025 was our first company run as Hopmann Marketing Analytics. And it will certainly remain in our memories. Despite adverse weather conditions, we showed that we can not only handle data, but also reach our destination in the rain and with wet shoes while spreading a lot of good humor. And this shows once again: “DATA – runs with us” is more than just a slogan on our self-designed T-shirts.
We are proud of our team of runners and are already looking forward to the next challenge. Perhaps at the B2Run 2026, hopefully with less rain but at least as much team spirit and good humor.
